Villa LAVA

Things To Do

Villa LAVA offers a relaxing environment for you to wind down and soak in the sun. However, after a few days you might want to leave the house and explore the stunning scenery that Croatia has to offer.

We have curated a list of activities that should fit all types of travelers, from families with kids to adventure seekers and sailors.

For families

Villa LAVA is an easy base for a family holiday, and there’s plenty nearby to keep every age happy:

  • A pool you can make child-safe. The private pool has a sliding glass dome that locks, so it can be closed off when little ones are around.
  • Sheltered beaches nearby. Pirovac sits on a calm bay, with coves a few minutes from the house. See our guide to the beautiful beaches near Pirovac.
  • Waterfalls at Krka. Krka National Park is a short drive away, with boardwalk trails winding through the falls that suit all ages.
  • A castle from Game of Thrones. Klis Fortress has ramparts to explore and sweeping views, an easy hit with kids.
  • A day on the water. The blue cave and islands tour makes for a memorable family outing by boat.
  • Tennis within walking distance. Courts to rent at Hotel Miran Pirovac, a short walk from the house (see Sports, below).
